On our recent trip to Mexico we picked up this great souvenir. It came in a drink at the big new year's party we attended. It has a little light bulb in it that changes colors, and it makes a great magic wand. The kids had a great time playing with it until Caleb, for some unknown reason, decided to take it apart and eat the insides. So, we got to take a trip to the ER to make sure it didn't get stuck in his esophagus. It didn't. Here is a picture of the battery and light, big and bright (clap, clap, clap, clap) deep in the bowels of Caleb. I need to go to bed.

You forgot to mention if the stars were bright late at night in the ER. Oh, that is a great post. I love the x-rays. I am especially glad Caleb is OK. What a scare. Kids really do the darndest things.
Oh my gosh that's crazy. Those were cool straws. I can see why he would love playing with it. I'm just impressed it made it all the way home with you. I'm glad things are okay and I hope you got a little rest in. You should send me some pics and I'll post them on the Peck Blog. That would be great!
Jennie,
Caleb is not on the biggest loser diet. Do you not feed him that he has to eat his toys? LOL!!!
That little sucker! (ha ha) Was Jim home or did you have to take all the kids with you to the ER? I'm also glad that cute little Caleb is OK. Hopefully that doesn't become a recurring thing! It probably didn't taste very nice so maybe it won't be too tempting to eat batteries anymore.
How on earth did you figure out he had eaten that thing? Can I just say I LOVE your posts. They definitely keep me laughing (only because everything turned out okay.)
I love your rendition to "Deep In The Heart of Texas". What a story!
